WHY SAGE? We are located in Northern Arizona and are inspired by the expansive, natural landscape. The colors of our website are taken from the natural local palette of Sedona red rocks, prickly pear, basalt, and juniper. In her free time, Emily loves to be outdoors gardening, hiking, traveling, and working on her small permaculture-inspired farm.

Emily has served as Executive Director, Development Director, Planned Giving Manager and Capital Campaign Manager, but these days she likes to think of herself as an organizational handy-woman, using her diverse skills and experience to fix problems and achieve goals for worthy organizations.

Emily has been mentored by some of the biggest names in nonprofit development, such as Kay Sprinkle Grace and Phillip Murphy, and has been recruited to top social service organizations. She created a national model program for homeless youth mentoring and has led large regional workforce development fundraising projects. She has worked for grant makers and grant seekers. And she has helped multiple homeless shelters get built.

Her joy has always been in helping nonprofits and small businesses make the leap to higher levels of service and success. Emily is thrilled to be able to share the abundance of knowledge and experience she has been blessed with with a wide swath of purpose-driven organizations.
